MASSILLON, OHIO

Michael and I recently visited my mom and sister in Massillon, Ohio. We stayed at a hotel in the downtown area that had its entrance on the top floor of the building--very strange. It took us forever to find how to get into the lobby. Anyway, the view from the top of the parking garage--outside of the lobby--was kind of neat. As you can see below, they have beautified the city by painting murals on the buildings. My uncle, who was once the chief of police, can be seen sitting in one of the windows. From what I understand, many of the faces in the mural were inspired by the folks who live there. Don't forget to click on the photo to see it up close.
