This is definitely the season for creativity. Unfortunately, it is also the season for busy, busy, busy! When we homeschooled, we always took off the entire month of December in order to enjoy crafting and baking and church stuff and a whole host of other fun things that make the holidays so special. Now that I work full time, things, out of necessity, have to be a bit different.
Decorating used to be done Thanksgiving weekend; the operative word being done. Now it is a process that rarely gets completed before it's time to start putting things away. There is so much more that I would love to do, but I've reached the point of stopping in order to enjoy some of the other Christmas activities with my family.
