Michael's mom, sisters, and brother-in-law were in for a visit this week. They joined us for Easter dinner. Michael Jr. was also in from Florida.

RESURRECTION SUNDAY
Even though the daffodils are out in full force ushering in spring, the weather today was not very spring-y! It was quite cold this morning, but that did not stop the children from wearing their special outfits.
WALL WORDS
Kelly started a new business last week, and here is a sample of her products! I was looking for something for above my kitchen window and came across a fantastic business opportunity for her--I'm much too busy! She and Travis put the Bible verse above my window and the other saying above the door to her house from mine. It is the first thing you see when you come in my front door. I absolutely love them both! If you are interested in purchasing some words for your home, let Kelly or me know! She has an online catalogue that you can browse through for ideas. You'll need a special code to access it.

Special Photos
This first photo was taken when Ryan, Tessa, and Ross were about 12, 4, and 2 respectively. They are walking down the driveway that circled the little church next to Kelly's house at the time. The verse below seemed to fit it perfectly. I think Ross and Nate are 5 and 3 in the second photo. It, too, was one of those photos that I knew would have to be displayed. I love the verse with it as well. You may click on the photos to make them larger for viewing.
I have no greater joy than to hear
that my children walk in truth.
3John 1:4
that my children walk in truth.
3John 1:4
Therefore take up the whole armor of God,
that you may be able to withstand in the evil day,
and having done all, to stand.
Ephesians 6:13
that you may be able to withstand in the evil day,
and having done all, to stand.
Ephesians 6:13
Tessa's Poem
I love to display the things that my children make. I use to cover the refrigerator, but now I go all out!
Snowflakes fly
Snowflakes play
Snowflakes dance a snow ballet.
With dresses of ice
And shoes of glass
They twirl, they flutter
They dance all day.
Snowflakes fly
Snowflakes play
Snowflakes dance a snow ballet.
Snowflakes fly
Snowflakes play
Snowflakes dance a snow ballet.
With dresses of ice
And shoes of glass
They twirl, they flutter
They dance all day.
Snowflakes fly
Snowflakes play
Snowflakes dance a snow ballet.
Tessa's Castle Project
Tessa had to create a castle for a school project. She was given three weeks to complete it, but we took advantage of the three days we were off because of the school closing for illness and got it finished. It sure felt good to have a project done two weeks early! I wish I had taken a picture of the pile of boxes in our foyer that we had collected in preparation for this project! It sure is amazing what can be made from recycled stuff. We used a cereal box, flavored tea boxes, party hats, paper towel tubes, bulletin board trim, scrapbook paper, Styrofoam bowls, aluminum foil, shelf liner, pompoms, stickers, and an old dance outfit!
