I think it is funny when people assume that my hair just does what it is supposed to. Really? I would never, never, never go out of the house without *doing* my hair. Sometimes I use a flat iron and sometimes a curling iron and sometimes both. I could never just go natural. No way.
BEFORE
scary
very scary
AFTER
that's better
much better

Congratulations on the opening of your new Etsy shop. Your birds are famous. I have a picture of it.. from where I can't recall on my tumblr site, because I instantly loved that little bird made out of a map. And I swear, we must have the same hair. I don't know how I lived all of those decades without it : )

I have the same hair type, except I cut all mine off when I saw that hot rollers and mall bangs were never coming back. Yours is beautiful, makes me want to grow it back; then I remember I'm lazy.
personally I like the bouffant. but I admit you look classy with the flatiron style. not that you don't look classy with the bouffant. just classy with a bigger head.

you are one of the most beautiful, classy ladies i know! miss you terribly....
Your hair is gorgeous, both before AND after. I want thick thick hair, of course I can type that outloud...I have thin thin thin, did I say THIN hair? Still, it's better than bald...Love the little birdies!

Congrats on your etsy shop,,love those little birds. Im the same way about my hair, but most of the time i'm just lazy and stick it up in a clip. Just wondering do you use any kind of moisturizer spray or anything when you use your flat iron?
Debilou, I have tried all kinds of stuff on my hair to get that run-your-finger-through, silky feel. :) My latest favorites are Beyond the Zone's Turn Up The Heat that I get at Sally's and Her Styler's Hair Serum that I got at a kiosk in the mall. Turn Up The Heat is a flat iron protection spray, and the serum makes it shine when I am done. :)
