Call us crazy--it won't be the first time, and it probably won't be the last time either. We are just those kind of people. This is our latest project.
There may be a few things you will want to miss, Kolein! There is plenty that I want to miss--like all the work. I just want to get to the decorating! :)
It seems you and I have something in common. JUST THIS WEEKEND-- Honey and I bought our own Vintage Camper! Kolein, wanted me to see yours, so here I am! Do you know what Age,Make, Year?
Ours had only a bill of sale- I've no IDEA WHAT KIND, YEAR, OR MAKER.
Like you-- I just want to get it decorated!!!!!!!!!!
Theme, Color-- no idea. Name--- well, we have a few to choose from and narrowed it down.
We'll see what it turns out to be.
Kind of like naming a dog-- you have something in mind and then at the last minute you change it, because it FITS THE LITTLE PUPPY YOU'VE COME TO LOVE!
Are you a Sister on the Fly? Sister #1509 here. Mine will be done in kitschy English cottage (thanks to Happy Loves Rosie, I'm now in love with all things Cath Kidston). I named her "The Burrow" (the Weasley's house in Harry Potter in case you didn't know that) and I think it fits. Have fun with your restoration ... there are quite a few of us taking this journey! :)
PS: I can recommend the vintage shasta trailer forum at proboards even if you don't own a Shasta ... lots of great renovation help/ideas!
I'm old--like 50-something! I love the Lord. I love being a mom. I love being a grandma. I love to blog, travel, read, and create. I love learning at home and school. I love making memories. I love to laugh. I need to laugh--a lot!
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
